"...髙橋は、RAID技術の上位レベルRAID5に対応した、メインフレーム接続用
のディスクストレージ装置を1995年に日本で初めて製品化しました。また、
2000年には、ストレージとサーバの接続部のチャネル制御機構
「Channel Adapter」、ストレージとハードディスクドライブ（HDD）の接続部
のディスク制御機構「Disk Adapter」、ならびにキャッシュメモリをクロス
バー・スイッチで接続し、高い拡張性と大幅な性能向上を実現した日立独自
のスターネットアーキテクチャを開発しました。さらに、2004年には、世界で
初めて、複数の機種の異なるストレージ装置を接続可能とする仮想化機能を
ストレージコントローラにより実現したエンタープライズディスクアレイ
システム「Hitachi Universal Storage Platform」製品化しました。"
